Harbhajan Singh slams selectors for not picking these two players

 

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 16-member squad for the 3-match T20I series against New Zealand which is going to conclude on 17th November, Wednesday.

The news went viral among the fans as they started to share their views on the team selection. However, most of the fans don't know that Indian selectors have also picked a 14-member India A squad that is going to take on South Africa in the upcoming days.

The former Indian spinner, Harbhajan Singh has made his statements after witnessing the team selection for the upcoming tour of South Africa. The Turbanator was not happy with the team selection as they missed two-star players who have been performing well in domestic cricket.

Sheldon Jackson and Mandeep were performing well and has good numbers in domestic cricket. Sheldon Jackson has featured in 76 First-class matches and amassed 5634 runs that he played at an average of 49.42 and also has 19 hundred to his name.

Likewise, Mandeep Singh has played 78 FC games where he piled up 5316 runs at an average of 47.46 and has the highest score of 235.

Harbhajan Singh pointed out the cricketers and posted a tweet, saying "Ranji season 2018/19 scored 854 and 2019/2020 scored 809 and also Ranji champion that year plus this year current form👇yet not getting picked even for India A team.can 🇮🇳selector tell him what else he need to do to ply for india apart from scoring runs #shame @ShelJackson27."


He followed it with one more tweet, and this time, the former off-spinner mentioned Mandeep Singh and wrote "Another top player not getting his dues @mandeeps12 forget team India not even in India A.selectors need to see some domestic matches records or else what’s th point having Ranji seasons.check his stats 👇last domestic season played.due to corona no cricket in 20/21 #shocking."
