Abu Dhabi T10 League: Start of the fifth season with a grand opening night on November 19th

 

The fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League will take place from January 28th to February 6th next year, with eight teams competing for the championship at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, it was announced on Monday.

Defending champions Northern Warriors will face the Delhi Bulls in the first game of the fifth season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League on Friday 19 November. In the second game of the first day, host team Abu Dhabi will meet the Bangla Tigers from 8 p.m. Both teams are striving for a perfect start in their search for a first Abu Dhabi T10 title.

A total of 35 games will be played over the 15 days of the competition at the Zayed Cricket Stadium, with each team playing against each other twice before the four best teams qualify on Friday, December 3rd.

From there, the teams compete in the first and second places in the group stage in a qualification, with the winner moving into the final. The losing team of the first qualifier then gets a second chance to reach the showpiece by facing the winner of the day's elimination match between the third and fourth placed teams.

A playoff for places three and four will be played around this year's champions on Saturday, December 4th, starting at 6 p.m., before the final starts at 8 p.m.
