England announces squad for the 5th Test match against India

England has announced their squad ahead of the upcoming 5th (rescheduled) Test match against India which is going to kick off on 1st July, Friday at Birmingham.

Recently, the hosts have whitewashed New Zealand in the three-match Test series as they won the series by 3-0. During the final day of the 3rd Test against the Kiwis, England chased down a total of 296 runs and won the game quite comfortably.

Moreover, Sam Billings who came in as a substitute for Ben Foakes due to the contract of Covid-19, the right-hander has been named in the squad against India.

Zak Crawley who is currently struggling with the bat has scored just 87 runs in this series and this might be his last chance to get back to his form. However, England has decided to come up with the same squad that they played against New Zealand.

He's scoring at a great rate: Ravi Shastri
