Deepak Chahar reveals that he will not be fit in time for the England series

On Sunday, June 19, India hosted South Africa for the sixth game. In addition, the match was held at Bengaluru, India's M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

India entered this match having defeated South Africa in the fourth T20 encounter on Friday. Temba Bavuma, the captain of South Africa, went on to win the toss and chose to have a bowl first.

With Ruturaj Gaikwad's quick wicket, the guys in blue got off to a sluggish start. Regarding the middle order, a similar pattern persisted. However, Dinesh Karthik contributed to India's 169 runs.

South Africa got off to a terrible start, and the pattern persisted all the way through. As Temba Bavuma did not bat again, the Proteas were officially all out for 87 runs. India scored 82 runs to win the game.

In the fourth T20 game, Dinesh Karthik went on to earn the man of the match award. Additionally, he had a strike rate of 203.70 and scored 55 runs off of 27 balls.

Sadly, after only about three overs of play, the fifth game was called off. It was brought on by Bengaluru's ongoing downpour during the match.

Deepak Chahar, an Indian fast bowler, has since disclosed that he won't be ready for the T20 series against England. Just before the IPL season, Deepak Chahar sustained an injury.

He said, “I am bowling four to five overs at one go as per my rehab programme right now. My recovery is going pretty well and I think it will take another four to five weeks for me to get match fit.

It’s a step-by-step process as far as recovery is concerned. I don’t think I will be fit for England T20s. Once I am match fit, I will need to play some club-level games to check my fitness.

I can’t say that but I will definitely try and get fit by then. Let’s see.”
