Meanwhile, considering the reports from Insidesport, Chennai Super Kings will appoint the former New Zealand cricketer, Stephen Fleming who has been coaching the side for a pretty long time in the Indian Premier League.
The Chennai-based franchise has roped Stephen Fleming since the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League. After becoming head coach of the side, the former New Zealand cricketer has helped the side clinch two Champions trophy titles and four IPL titles under his belt.
However, as per the reports from Insidesport, a CSK official said, "You will know the official name by this week. We are currently in talks with Stephen (Fleming) as we can't think of any better person carrying forward the CSK legacy in a new venture."
"Dhoni’s involvement will depend on BCCI's clearance. He won't be playing but could be in some role if BCCI permits," the CSK official added.
However, fans were eager to know the name of the franchise bought by Chennai Super Kings in South Africa and we can expect a new kind of tournament in the upcoming edition of the CSA T20 tournament.
