Watch: Ravindra Jadeja bowls a spectacular delivery to get rid of AB de Villiers

 
Royal Challengers Bangalore have clashed with the three-time champions Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After elected to bat first by Ms Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings got a fiery start from both the openers Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad.

They dominated the opposition bowlers and scored 45+ runs at the end of the power play. Then, the lead spinner of RCB, Yuzvendra Chahal gave the breakthrough for the side by removing Ruturaj Gaikwad for 33 runs.

Suresh Raina played a quick cameo and departed after scoring 24 runs including 3 sixes to his name. Plessis followed him off the very next ball bowled by Harshal Patel as he failed to clear the fence and handed a simple catch Daniel Christian on the long-on region.

However, Ravindra Jadeja has given all he had in his pocket and scored 62 runs off just 28 balls. The game changed in the last over of Harshal Patel when he smashed 5 sixes and a four in his spell. 

Besides, after contributing with the willow, the 32-year-old continued his form with the ball as well. He bagged three wickets with the ball as he removed Washington Sundar, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers. He bowled a fabulous delivery to the superman AB de Villiers to get rid of the monster.

While chasing a target of 192 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost their skipper Virat Kohli cheap. Devdutt Padikal was looked really well in the powerplay as he scored 34 runs from just 15 balls including 4 boundaries and 2 sixes.

After the fall of Padikkal, the middle-order of Royal Challengers Bangalore struggled to score runs in the middle overs of the game. However, Glenn Maxwell added 22 runs which was the second-highest score after Devdutt Padikkal for RCB.

Washington Sundar, AB de Villiers and Daniel Christian returned to the dressing room with the numbers 7, 4 and 1 respectively.

In the end, Chennai Super Kings successfully defended their total against a strong batting side. Now, they have to face Warner's Sunrisers Hyderabad in their upcoming battle on Wednesday.
