Watch: Glenn Maxwell hits reverse sweeps in the RCB practice session

The Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has failed to live up to the expectations in the last season. He failed to perform while representing Punjab Kings in the UAE.

Maxwell has played almost all the games for Punjab, but he did not hit even a single six throughout the season. This stat shows how badly he performed in the last edition of IPL.

The franchise trusted him a lot and went on to buy him for a whopping INR 10.75 crore in the 2020 auction. But, it was the biggest mistake Punjab made ever in the history of IPL.

The cricket fraternity was not happy with the performances of Maxwell. Virender Sehwag was the first to talk about tbe all-rounder. He said 10-crore cheerleader proved costly for the Punjab-based IPL franchise.
