Twitter reacts to Trent Boult's hilarious dive as he loses his control

We have already witnessed a lot of funny things in the ongoing season of IPL. Yesterday, it was Trent Boult who left us in splits after losing his control while trying to stop a boundary.

Coming to the game, the defending champions, Mumbai Indians decided to bat first at Chepauk against Sunrisers. The openers gave them a good start but the middle order failed to capitalize that.

Rohit Sharma got out for 32 runs while Quinton de Kock almost played a run-a-ball knock of 40 off 39 deliveries. Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya had no answers to SRH's bowling attack.

At one stage, looked like they would score around 130 due to poor performance from the middle-order. But, the brilliant finish from Kieron Pollard helped them to post a defendable total of 150 on the board.

Just like the openers of Mumbai, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow provided a massive start to the team. But, the five-time champions made a huge comeback by removing both the openers.

The match was in the control of Sunrisers when the openers were in the crease. But, once they lost both the openers, the match went in the favour of Mumbai.

Apart from Warner and Bairstow, no one took responsibility and they lost the game by the margin of 13 runs. Boult and Chahar were the picks of the bowlers as they picked up 3 wickets each.

During the second innings, the left-handed opener mistimed the shot but did not find any fielder at the cover. He gave his best while trying to save a boundary but ended up having a funny fall.
