Twitter reacts as Prasidh Krisha gives a fiery send-off to Chris Jordan against PBKS
After changing the venue from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, the struggling Kolkata Knight Riders finally won their second match against Punjab Kings. Speaking about the game, Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to bowl first.
In response, KKR bowlers executed their plans very well and gave away just 37 runs in the powerplay. Pat Cummins removed the star batsman KL Rahul for 19 runs.
Then Chris Gayle and Deepak Hooda followed their skipper in the next two overs. Mayank Agarwal got a slow start to his innings and returned to the dressing room after scoring 31 runs from 34 balls.
Nicholas Pooran has seemed to be coming back to form when he launched the ball for a six. But, Varun Chakravarthy simply cleaned him off in the 14th over of the game. Shahrukh Khan and Chris Jordan made a decent partnership in the 7th wicket.
The instance took place in the final over of the game where Chris Jordan had to face the youngster Prasidh Krishna. The youngster bowled him off the 4th ball and gave a fiery send off to the English cricketer.

Punjab Kings posted 123 runs with the help of Jordan's quick cameo of 30 from 18 deliveries. Chasing the target, Punjab bowlers have been successful to remove Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana and Sunil Narine before the end of the powerplay overs.

However, the skipper of the side, Eoin Morgan and Rahul Tripathi stood strong in the middle. Both the batsmen added 66 runs for the 4th wicket partnership and almost took the team close to the victory line.
In the end, Kolkata Knight Riders successfully chased the target posted by the opposition. Eoin Morgan has been named as the Man of the Match for his 47 off 40 balls.
