Twitter reacts as Ms Dhoni hilariously jokes after Harshal Patel comes to the crease

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings have finally clashed with each other in the 19th match of the ongoing season of the IPL. Virat Kohli and his men have kicked off their campaign with a win in their opening game against Mumbai Indians.

CSK on the other side lost their first game to Pant-led Delhi Capitals as they failed to chase down the target posted by them. Despite losing their first game, Chennai has bounced back well and won the rest of the games they played in the league.

They continued the same momentum against RCB as they defeated them with a margin of 69 runs. Ravindra Jadeja was looked in outstanding form with both the bat and the ball and scored 62 off just 28 deliveries including 3 wickets to his bag.

In addition to that, he smashed 5 sixes and a four in the final over bowled by Harshal Patel. During the game, Ms Dhoni was spotted continuously giving instructions for Jadeja in Hindi while AB de Villiers and Glenn Maxwell were present on the crease.

His advice paid off as Jadeja sent both the dangerous batsmen back to the dressing room. After Harshal Patel came to the crease, Dhoni hilariously joked "Ab Hindi me nahi bol sakta hun" means "Can't speak in Hindi anymore" as Harshal Patel can understand what he says.

Ravindra Jadeja has his say about the game:

After winning the match, the 32-year-old had shared some words about the game in the post-match presentation. "No, I do not think so. Enjoyed a lot, when you contribute to your team in a winning match, it means a lot. I have been working a lot on my fitness, skill and everything else, luckily, it paid off today.

It is tough as an all-rounder, you will have to do well in all departments – while training, I do not do all the three things (batting, bowling and fielding practice) on the same day. I work on my skills one day and my fitness on the next day.

That is how I manage my workload. I was looking to hit hard in the last over, Mahi Bhai told me he (Harshal) will be bowling somewhere outside the off-stump and I was ready for that.

Luckily, I connected with everything and we managed to reach 191, which was crucial over from our side. I knew I had to score some runs if I do get on strike. Today was not my day (on not getting a catch), but I did get one run-out (laughs), I am happy with that."

Ms Dhoni praises Ravindra Jadeja and Faf du Plessis:

In the post-match presentation, the skipper of CSK, Ms Dhoni praised the left-handed all-rounder for his instincts with both the bat and the ball including Faf du Plessis as well.

"He is (Jadeja) somebody who can change the game on his own. We have seen that significant change with the bat and in the bowling as well. It is good to give him that extra opportunity.

The extra few balls where he can express himself. It is also important that the individual grabs the chance when you make a decision like that. He has done that so far."
