Twitter reacts after watching Vijay Shankar's "moon-ball" to Rishabh Pant

 

Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently engaged with each other in the 20th game of the Indian Premier League at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The skipper of Delhi Capitals, Rishabh Pant decided to bat first after winning the toss.

In response, they got a very good start from both their openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw. They added 81 runs for the 1st wicket partnership before the fall of Shikhar Dhawan against Rashid Khan and scored 28 runs for his side.

Then Prithvi Shaw followed him in the very next over and been run out after scoring 53 runs to his name. Rishabh Pant and Steve Smith played added a crucial partnership in the middle overs for the team.

However, Vijay Shankar has done something non-negotiable in the game. The instance took place in the fifth ball of Vijay Shankar's spell when he bowled a 'moon-ball" to the left-hander. Rishabh Pant also did an unusual action to send off the ball to the fence.

The scenario of the game:

Coming back to the game, Steve Smith and Rishabh Pant continued to dominate the opposition bowlers. They added 58 runs for the 3rd wicket-partnership. Then Siddarth Kaul delivered the ball and dismissed the well-settled Rishabh Pant for 37 runs.

Shimron Hetmyer followed him in the same over and returned to the dugout with one run. In the end, Delhi Capitals posted 159 runs on the board. Sunrisers Hyderabad started chasing the total with David Warner and Jonny Bairstow.

Both of them gave a flying start to the innings. Unfortunately, David Warner has to come back to the dressing room after getting run out by Kagiso Rabada at the striker's end.

But, Jonny Bairstow continued his style of play and added three more sixes to his name. However, after hitting six off Avesh Khan's ball, the right-hander wanted to go over long-on as he miss-timed the ball which went straight to the hands of Shikhar Dhawan.

Now, the experienced New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson and Kedar Jadhav are leading the side from the front.
