Twitter goes crazy after Rishabh Pant denied Ravichandran Ashwin to save the DRS

Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are currently engaged in the 13th match of the Indian Premier League at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Coming to the game, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma elected to bat first after winning the toss. He got a good start to the innings whereas his partner Quinton de Kock was once again going back to the dressing room with single-digit numbers.

But before that, Rishabh Pant and Ravichandran Ashwin got engaged in a small conversation that is going viral on social media platforms. The moment took place during the 2nd over of the game where the Tamil Nadu bowler delivered a carrom ball that hit the pads of Rohit Sharma.

Both the wicket-keeper and bowler had appealed louder but the on-field umpire was not interested in that. Ashwin straightaway went to Rishabh Pant and asked the latter to take the review. But, Pant also refused as the ball was missing the leg stump.

Moreover, their middle-order got collapsed after his wicket as Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard also warmed the bench after scoring 0,1 and 2 respectively. Ishan Kishan played a decent knock in the middle and added 26 runs with the bat.

In the end, Rohit Sharma top-scored for Mumbai Indians as they posted 137 runs on the board. Chasing the target, Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw have opened the innings for Delhi Capitals.

Prithvi Shaw has been cleared by Jayant Yadav as the right-hander hit the ball back to the bowler. Steve Smith and Shikhar Dhawan are currently taking their game on their shoulders. Let's wait and see that who's going to win the game.
