IPL 2021: Watch - MS Dhoni smashing the bowlers all around the park in the nets session

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League is all set to commence on 9th April at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Ahead of the tournament, plenty of teams has already gone to their home ground to start their training as Virat Kohli and his men are busy with the England schedule.

On the other hand, the Dhoni-led side Chennai Super Kings has also organized their camps and started their training as well. The former Indian skipper has last played during the previous edition of the cash-rich contest. They finished at the 7th position for the first time in the history of IPL.

So, Dhoni will be looking to bring back the vintage CSK team in the upcoming edition of the league. Besides, one of the best finishers of the modern era who came up to play after IPL 2020 has spotted in the nets. The official handle of Chennai Super Kings posted a video of Dhoni as he is smashing the ball all around the park.

Moreover, the owner of CSK N Srinivasan has shared a few things to India Today saying that β€œFor your information, MS Dhoni is in Chennai. He takes his cricket so seriously; he is practising in the morning in the indoor nets and in the afternoon, he is practising at Chepauk.'

"He is a very determined person and that is what we like. One more thing, Cricket is about winning, IPL is about winning but there are also things such as consistency and loyalty and I think that is what oozes out of us.”

β€œWe are in cricket for the last 50 years, we started in the early 60s, almost the entire Tamil Nadu Ranji team was employed by us. So we have been in cricket for a long time, we have been running teams, we have a true appreciation and a good appreciation of good cricket,” he added.

After all, the yellow army is eagerly waiting to see their home team on 10th April against Delhi Capitals at Mumbai.
