The sports anchor and wife of Stuart Binny, Mayanti Langer has been the talk of the town in recent times. She took Twitter to handle and come up with a hilarious tweet that left the Rohit Sharma fans to be worried.

But before that, Mumbai Indians lost their opener against the Virat-led Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday. In their second game against Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians has shown up what they are known for.

The skipper of KKR, Eoin Morgan elected to field first after winning the toss. Quinton de Kock opened the innings for Mumbai Indians along with his skipper Rohit Sharma.

Though they lost the South African batsman in the early time, Suryakumar Yadav dominated the opposition bowling alley with Hitman on the other end. Both the players have been sent back to the pavilion with the numbers 43 and 56 respectively.

During the game, Mayanti Langer's tweet caught the attention of the fans which is going viral on social media platforms and soon deleted the tweet. "If Mumbai scores more than 200, I want Vada Pavs. Because one must honour the hitman," tweeted by Mayanti Langer.

Morgan-led Kolkata Knight Riders had to chase 153 runs against one of the toughest teams in the league. Nitish Rana and Shubman Gill gave the expected start for their team as they tore apart the experienced bowling attack of Rohit's army.

Rahul Chahar emerged as the game-changer of Mumbai by removing both the set batsman Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana for 33 and 57 runs respectively.

He continued with the ball and also scalped Rahul Tripathi and experienced Eoin Morgan with single-digit numbers. The right-handed leggie bagged 4 wickets and helped his team to make a comeback in the game.

Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult had shown what they are for as they defended the remaining runs against the top-finishers like Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell. At the end, Mumbai Indians won the game with a margin of 10 runs.
