IPL 2021: CSK's probable XI against Delhi Capitals

 

Chennai Super Kings are all set to clash with Pant-led Deli Capitals in the first Qualifier which is going to commence at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on Sunday. CSK is not in good form as they lost their last two matches that they played against Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings. With 18 points, Chennai Super Kings are at the 2nd position and will look to win this match to directly go for the Finals.

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis will open the innings for Chennai Super Kings. Ruturaj Gaikwad is the second-highest run-getter in the tournament who has amassed 533 runs at an average of well above 44. Faf du Plessis will be looking to score runs from the other end. So far, he has scored 546 runs in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Middle-order:

Moeen Ali, Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, and MS Dhoni

The English all-rounder Moeen Ali will come at no.3 for Chennai Super Kings. He will look to dominate the bowlers to increase the run rate during the middle overs of the game.

Ambati Rayudu will be the key player for Chennai Super Kings in the middle and slog overs of the game. He has scored above 250 runs this season at a strike rate of well above 150.

Deepak Chahar will lead the bowling attack in the powerplay overs. He has given the expected start for the team on many occasions and will look to continue the same in this match as well.

The Australian pacer is known cam make the batsmen struggle by hitting the right line and length. However, he didn't give the expected start for his team this season so far.
