Royal Challengers on the other hand are yet to win the title since the inaugural season in 2008.

Likewise, Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals also will be eyeing to lift the trophy if they perform well in the league. Rajasthan Royals clinched the IPL Trophy during the inaugural season in 2008 are yet to make an impact in the league.

The three-time champions Chennai Super Kings which is the most liked team in IPL didn't have a good time in the last seasons. Along with them, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad who won the title in 2014 and 2016 will be desperate to lift the trophy in the 14th edition of the league.

Let's have a look at the predictions of Scott Styris

The Kiwi all-rounder has revealed his prediction about the standing ahead of the IPL 2021. The 45-year-old believes that the Rohit-led Mumbai Indians will be the favourites to win the title in the edition as well.

The runners up of the previous season, Delhi Capitals will remain in the second position on the points table. The KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings will grab the 3rd position who failed to qualify for the playoffs in IPL 2020.

Following them, the Orange Army Sunrisers Hyderabad might end the season in the fourth position as they have been kicked out of the qualifiers by the Delhi Capitals in the last edition. Royal Challengers Bangalore is expected to stay away from the playoffs as predicted by Scott Styris.

Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders are positioned in 6th and 7th place on the points table respectively. More surprisingly, the former CSK all-rounder believes that Dhoni's army will not be able to clinch the title for the fourth time as they were rooted on the points table revealed by him.
