IPL 2021: Complete Schedule Of Delhi Capitals (DC) For the Tournament

In this article, we are going to the complete schedule of the Delhi Capitals ahead of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. In the previous season, Delhi Capitals lost the Finals against the defending champions Mumbai Indians which is considered as the best-balanced team of IPL 2020.
After winning the toss, Delhi decided to bat first but failed to handle the likes of the Kiwi pacer Trent Boult who went through the top-order as he removed Marcus Stoinis and Ajinkya Rahane for 0 and 2. However, the skipper and the wicket-keeper Shreyas Iyer and Rishab Pant steadied the ship and played a vital knock of 65 and 56 respectively.
In the second innings, Mumbai Indians went on to chase the target of 157 runs and clinch the trophy for the 5th time in the history of the IPL. Delhi Capitals would come back strongly in the upcoming season as they have released six players Keemo Paul, Jason Roy, Mohit Sharma, Tushar Deshpande, Alex Carey and Sandeep Lamichhane ahead of the IPL 2021.
On the other hand, they have retained Ajinkya Rahane, Amit Mishra, Anrich Nortje, Avesh Khan, Axar Patel, Chris Woakes, Daniel Sams, Harshal Patel, Ishant Sharma, Lalit Yadav, Marcus Stoinis, Kagiso Rabada, Pravin Dubey, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rishab Pant and Shimron Hetmyer are those players whom the franchise retained for IPL 2021.
Delhi Capitals has been at their best in the last two season where they made a strong comeback after appointing the former Australian captain Ricky Ponting as their coach. It has become a challenging side with some star players on the cards who can chase huge totals and defend lesser totals on the board.
They are scheduled to face Chennai Super Kings in their first match at Mumbai and will play their next two games at the same venue and the remaining games to be played at Chennai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata where they have to play two, four and five games respectively.
