The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League is going to commence soon in few days, all the franchises started their training ahead of the league. We have seen a lot of young talents throughout the competition from Jasprit Bumrah to Ishan Kishan.

Can Dinesh Karthik better his numbers from the last season?
The 25-year-old didn't have a great outing in the previous edition as he went on to score only 169 runs from 14 games that he played at an average of below 15.

During the competition, he stepped down from the leadership and handed over the responsibilities to the experienced England captain Eoin Morgan. Still, Karthik failed to live up to the marks of the team and fans due to his lack of consistency with the bat.
However, the wicket-keeper batsman looks confident this time as he even picked himself in his all-time xi of IPL. They started their training session ahead of the cash-rich contest and will look to aggregate more run in the middle-order for his team.
The Morgan-led side will play their first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on 11th April. In addition to that, fans are very excited to watch the IPL in India as the previous edition of the contest was hosted by United Arab Emirate (UAE) after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
