Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have gone face to face in the 50th match of this tournament. Coming to the game, Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to take the field.

In the end, the powerhouse of Delhi Capitals, Rovman Powell took the charge and scored an unbeaten 67 runs for his team. With a huge target on the board, SRH comes out to bat with their regular openers.

However, things didn't work well for the Kane Williamson side as they lost the match by a margin of 21 runs. Nicholas Pooran was their top scorer who scored 62 runs with Aiden Markram, adding 42 runs.

After defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rishabh Pant had a few words about the game in the post-match presentation. "There is always room for improvement, but it's close to a perfect game for us as a batting unit. I was calm about myself.

In high chases, the other team needs 10-12 runs per over, it's difficult to hit till the 20th over. I was telling the bowlers to be calm. (On David Warner) The way he batted, the way he paced the innings, it's one of the best innings," Rishabh Pant was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

"We knew what he (Powell) can give us, we backed him and he's coming out with flying colours now. We are just taking one game at a time and trying to give our 100%. I got out to a full toss, that's part and parcel of the game. Good and important win for us," said Rishabh Pant.

But, during the game, Rishabh Pant looked in good form as he smashed Shreyas Gopal for three back to back sixes. However, the leggie made a strong comeback and cleaned Rishabh Pant with a peach of a delivery.
