Sara Tendulkar shared a heartfelt post after his brother didn't get a match in IPL 2022
Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals went on to clash with Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians in a do or die situation in this tournament. It was an important game for Delhi Capitals, as they had to beat Mumbai Indians to make their place in the playoffs.
Coming to the game, Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bowl. Batting first, Delhi Capitals haven't been much impressed with the bat, scoring 159 runs at the end of their inning.
Rovman Powell scored important runs in the middle and added 43 runs for his team. Chasing the target, the skipper of Mumbai Indians Rohit Sharma has struggled a lot and has to walk back with a poor score.
However, the middle-order batters of Mumbai Indians have done well and helped the side to get past the total with five wickets in hand. Tim David once again set the platform for his team as he smashed a quickfire 34 off 11 balls which included 4 sixes and two fours.
It was holding a bit: Tim David
Winning the game against Delhi Capitals, the man in form for Mumbai Indians, Tim David shared his views about the game in the post-match presentation. "Nice to finish with a win, we got close the other night, good to finish this off.
Ishan (Kishan) told me the wicket was getting flatter, it was holding a bit with the slower balls, but I just had to hold my shape and back my game, keep it simple," Tim David was quoted as same as in Cricbuzz.
"I got lucky with a couple of baby sixes, it is all about repetition and holding your shape. Early in the season, I was leaning back on the ball a bit, so I’ve worked really hard on my shape, happy with the result. It’s been a tough season but our last six games we’ve played some good cricket," he added.
"We've won four games out of six which is really promising for our group. I got a message from Faf this morning - it was a picture of him, Maxi and Virat all in an MI kit, maybe I’ll get to post that on Instagram later.
(On review not taken) I heard a noise but I wasn’t sure, but when they didn’t review, I thought let’s crack on, that’s how the game is," said Tim David.
Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Sachin Tendulkar has been bought by Mumbai Indians in the mega auction of this season. However, he didn't get a single game, likewise the previous edition and warmed the bench throughout the entire season.
In that case, Arjun Tendulkar's sister Sara Tendulkar has created a story on her Instagram handle which has gone viral on social media platforms. She posted her brother's picture in Mumbai jersey in her story and added the song 'Apna Time Ayega' which has been the talk of the town.
