However, the pillar of Chennai Super Kings has been released by the franchise ahead of the upcoming edition and even didn't bid for him in the mega auction as well.
They have retained Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Moeen Ali for the next season of the cash-rich contest. In that case, fans were not happy with the CSK management who didn't go for him in the two-day bidding event.

Recently, the left-handed batter has commented on CSK's post on Instagram. The Chennai based management posted a picture of Ambati Rayudu who has joined the franchise ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
He has featured in 205 matches in IPL and will remain one of the best players to have ever featured in the league. In his debut season for Chennai Super Kings, in IPL 2008, the left-handed batter smashed 421 runs after getting featured in 16 matches for his team.

Moreover, fans all around the globe often love to see them bonding between the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina.
Besides, the Yellow Army will be entering into the new edition of the tournament with a similar kind of squad as they will miss the services of Shardul Thakur and Faf du Plessis.
However, they have bought the right-arm pacer Deepak Chahar for a whopping price of INR 14 crores and also backed Ambati Rayudu and Robin Uthappa back to the side.
