IPL 2022: Rohit Sharma savagely trolls all other franchises in his style
The five-time champion Mumbai Indians played their first match against Delhi Capitals at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. After being asked to bat first, Mumbai Indians posted a quite challenging total of 177 runs with the help of Ishan Kishan's unbeaten 81 and Rohit Sharma's 41.
Chasing the target of 179 runs, the Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals won the match by 4 wickets as Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel changed the fortunes for them in the death overs against Mumbai Indians.
After losing the game, Rohit Sharma shared a few words in the post-match presentation and said, "I thought it was a good score. It didn't look like a pitch where you can get 170+ at the start but we played in the middle and finished well. Just didn't bowl according to our plans," was quoted as same as in Cricbuzz.
Rohit Sharma will be looking to come back in the next game:
After losing their opening match against Delhi Capitals, Rohit Sharma and his men will be desperately looking to make their comeback in the upcoming game. However, they have the home advantage as most of the matches will be hosted by Mumbai, according to the reports.
Moreover, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also decided that they will host all the matches in Maharashtra which is a piece of great news for that state fans. But a plethora of franchises was not happy with the decision taken by the BCCI as it will give the home advantage to the Mumbai based franchise.
In that case, a lot of fans started to troll Rohit Sharma and his side for getting the home advantage, despite getting a lot of trolls, the skipper of the side come up with a savage reply and said, "Many franchises objected that how can Mumbai play in Mumbai. They should try to build 3-4 Stadiums in their cities then."
