The mega auction for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League is not far too away with only a few days left. As everyone knows, the mega event will take place on 12th and 13th February in Bengaluru and the fans from worldwide were eager to witness whose going to bag top players in the two days.

Moreover, with all the eight franchises and the two newly added franchise Lucknow Super Giants and Ahmedabad have retained their players ahead of the mega auction of IPL 2022.

Coming to the point, the Royal Challengers Bangalore who is yet to win the title will be looking to rope some talented players not only for their middle-order but also for the death bowling department as well.

In that case, the West Indies all-arounder Jason Holder who has been the talk of the city will be a buy as he can dominate the opposition bowlers by dancing down the track and can give a breakthrough during the crunch moments of the game.

Jason Holder

Considering the reports from an RCB source which has been quoted by Cricket Next, the source said, "Ben Stokes isn’t available, Hardik Pandya and Marcus Stoinis are taken.

Mitchell Marsh, you never know whether he can survive a full IPL with his injury-prone career, Holder has been phenomenal if one looks at his record. RCB will like to go the distance as some others will also pitch in."

"For Holder, they have reserved Rs 12 crore and another Rs 8 crore for Rayudu and Rs 7 crore for Parag. If they spend Rs 27 crore approximately on these players, they would have another Rs 28 crore left.

The core with Kohli, Maxwell, Siraj, Holder, Rayudu, and Parag will be set. Let’s hope they can get two out of the preferred three," the source added.

So, if the Bangalore based franchise spends the expected sum of money for roping these three players, they would have only 28 crores in their purse which they have to spend for buying the rest of the players in the mega auction of IPL 2022.
