IPL 2022: LSG admin trolls RCB by calling them "Beta" during the game
In the 31st match of the ongoing Indian Premier League, Lucknow Super Giants went on face to face with Royal Challengers Bangalore in search of another win. Coming to the game, RCB was asked to bat first after losing the toss.
Responding to that, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a well challenging total of 181 runs on the board. Faf du Plessis was the lone warrior who smashed 96 runs and got dismissed in the final over of the game.
Glenn Maxwell and Shahbaz Ahmed were the other batters to cross the 20 runs mark. Chasing the target, Lucknow Super Giants didn't get the expected start as they lost a couple of wickets before the end of the powerplay overs.
However, skipper KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya tried to get the momentum back but had to warm the bench after scoring 30 and 42 runs respectively. In the end, RCB won the match by a margin of 18 runs and are moved to the second spot on the league table.
Josh Hazlewood shines with the ball for RCB:
After winning the match, Josh Hazlewood shared a few words about the game in the post-match presentation. "It was good fun. The challenge at the end when the batters are coming hard. Obviously we had the big side to try and use and I thought we used it pretty well.
He is the skip he got us the big score. Faf has been brilliant. Few lean games, but he took his time today and kept the scoring going along and finished with a bang. Credit to him," said Josh Hazlewood was quoted as same as in Cricbuzz.
"Just turned and tried to get back to my mark as quickly as I could, got pretty lucky on that one (smiles). I am really enjoying the bounce. Wankhede has got nice bounce but here at the DY, the bounce is unreal with the new ball.

If you get it right you can create opportunities in those first few overs. We have got a well-rounded bowling attack and we cover all bases," he added.
However, during the game, a fan trolled LSG on Instagram and the admin of the official page was also trolled by mentioning "RCB Beta" which was not accepted by the fans.

Friendly banters are always welcome in cricket. But trolling is not done. A new team calling a team which’s been part of IPL since 2008, Beta, is not banter. Kindly make amends, @LucknowIPL #DoddaMathu #RCB #LSG #CricketTwitter https://t.co/Cw8LUZtAy0
