IPL 2022: Deepak Chahar has been doubtful for the upcoming games as he suffered a back injury at NCA

The four-time title winners Chennai Super Kings have gotten off to the worst start they ever had in the history of the Indian Premier League.

As MS Dhoni stepped down from the leadership, the management of Chennai Super Kings named Ravindra Jadeja as their new skipper for this season. However, things didn't go well for the left-handed all-rounder, as they have lost four consecutive matches on the trot.

With four straight losses this season, Ravindra Jadeja and his men will be looking to register their first win in their upcoming fixture against Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Moreover, the CSK fans were not happy with the team's performance that they showed in the last couple of games they played. Moreover, the batting order has not up to the standards after the departure of Faf du Plessis.

Can CSK make a comeback without the services of Deepak Chahar?

According to the recent reports, Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the entire season of this IPL after suffering a back injury at the NCA in Bengaluru. CSK didn't retain the right-arm pacer, as they went on to bid for him and roped him with a staggering amount of INR 14 crores in the two-day bidding event.

As everyone knows that Deepak Chahar is one of the main pillars of CSK bowling alley and we can see that the side is struggling without his services of him. The Yellow Army has also tried the services of Tushar Despande, Chris Jordan, Mukesh Choudhary and Adam Milne haven't been that effective.

However, CSK has other options like the Kerala pacer KM Asif who has the capability of clocking 140s regularly and also has Rajvardhan Hangargekar, the U19 all-rounder who can show his worth with both the bat and the ball.

Hence, let's wait and see what combination the Chennai Super Kings going to use in their upcoming battle against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
