IPL 2022: 5 Indian cricketers of 2 Crore price might go unsold in the mega auction
As the mega auction of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League is going to conclude in a few days, fans were eagerly waiting to witness the auction on 12th and 13th February in Bengaluru.
Moreover, considering the reports from other sources, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has planned to host the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League in India itself.
Coming to the point, the list for the mega auction has been shortlisted by the BCCI and 590 players have been added to the auction pool. Hence, in this article, we are going to see the 5 cricketers in the 2 crore list who might not get any bid from the franchise.
5. Dinesh Karthik
Dinesh Karthik led the franchise across a few seasons and also made it to the playoffs. But back to back failures, he handed over the captaincy role to Eoin Morgan.
As of now, the Kolkata based franchise has released him ahead of the mega auction and he has registered himself in the 2 crore club. With his lack of performance and overage, the 36-year-old is unlikely to attract the bidders in the mega auction.
4. Krunal Pandya
The elder brother of Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya was also a regular fixture in the Mumbai Indians side. However, ahead of the mega auction of IPL 2022, Mumbai Indians have released him with his brother and he too might get unsold for his poor performance on the field.
3. Ambati Rayudu
The former Chennai Super Kings batsman who had a good season in the previous edition has been released by the franchise. He has been registered in the 2 crore list and considering his age, Rayudu might get unsold in the mega auction of IPL 2022.

Umesh Yadav is one of the few bowlers from the Indian team who can clock 140s regularly. But in the shortest format of the game, he often been expensive with the ball and also failed to provide the breakthroughs at regular intervals. Likewise, he might not get any bidders in the upcoming mega auction.

One of the main pillars of the Chennai Super Kings, Suresh Raina has been the regular name to be seen in the side. However, as the youngsters like Ruturaj Gaikwad and a few more started to perform consistently, Suresh Raina has been sidelined by the franchise and might not attract any bidders for his age factor as well.
