"I would have broken every record of Virat Kohli" - Yuzvendra Chahal's hilarious comments about breaking Virat Kohli's records

The leg-spinner of Rajasthan Royals Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the best entertainers on the field and off the field as well. He is often known for his humourous jokes on social media he previously said that he will open the innings with Jos Buttler for his team.

However, Rajasthan Royals won their previous face-off against KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants by 24 runs. Batting first, Yashasvi Jaiswal produced some quality shots with the bat and scored 41 runs for his team. Sanju Samson and Devdutt Padikkal scored 32 and 39 runs respectively.

With a good total of 178 runs, Rajasthan Royals bowlers bowled very well throughout the inning and restricted the opposition to 154 runs. But the premium leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has gone expensive with the ball, giving away 42 runs and scalping just one wicket for his team.

I have to score a hundred: Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal - Virat Kohli

We all know that Yuzvendra Chahal is a very humorous person and a good entertainer on social media platforms. In a recent interaction with ESPN Cricinfo, Chahal said, "If I had a chance to open - Then I would have broken every record, not just Jos Buttler.

I think even Virat Kohli bhaiya’s record (973 runs) is left for me only. I’m going to break that record. I will break that record in 10 matches only because in every match I have to score a hundred, no? (laughs)."

Interestingly, Jos Buttler was once seen very close to Virat Kohli's 973 runs mark, as he smashed three hundred at the start of this season. But it seems like he would not break the record as once again he returned to the dressing with a single-digit score.

As of now, Rajasthan Royals will be gearing up for their upcoming battle against Chennai Super Kings at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
