'Most enjoyable period of my career' - Virat Kohli breaks the internet by sharing a heartwarming tribute post for MS Dhoni

 

The veteran Indian cricketer and former skipper of Team India, Virat Kohli has broken the social media after sharing a picture of him and MS Dhoni on his official Twitter handle.

After being rested for the West Indies and Zimbabwe tour, Virat Kohli has back in action ahead of the upcoming tournament, Asia Cup. The 33-year-old has a huge task of facing their arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening match of the tournament on 28th August, Sunday.

With only a few hours to go for the riveting fixture, both the players of the sides were working hard to make a mark in their opening game of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the former Indian skipper has failed to cross the 20-run mark during the three-match T20I series against England and will be looking to get some runs in the opening game against Babar Azam-led Pakistan.

However, Virat Kohli shared a picture of him with MS Dhoni from the previous days and captioned it, "Being this man’s trusted deputy was the most enjoyable and exciting period in my career. Our partnerships would always be special to me forever. 7+18 ❤️."

Saqlain Mushtaq, the current head coach of the Pakistan cricket team has come up with a bold statement on the Indian stalwart, Virat Kohli ahead of the opening game against India. In a recent interaction with Sportskeeda, Saqlain Mushtaq said, "You cannot take Virat Kohli lightly.

Even if he isn't in form, he has ruled the cricketing world for 12-15 years and is keen on a chance to score big. So he is definitely not someone who can be underestimated. Pakistan will definitely rely on Babar Azam."

Following that, the former Pakistan spinner also stated, "The world has seen his consistency and hopefully, he will continue to do so.
