T20 World Cup 2021: Youngest and oldest player from each team
The T20 World Cup 2021 has started dramatically at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on October 17. Sri Lanka, Namibia, Bangladesh and Scotland are the other four teams that qualified for the Super 12 ahead of the mega-event.
All the teams have announced their 15-men squad which is well balanced with all kinds of players in it. Moreover, the T20 World Cup 2021 has a lot of young and senior players with the age below 20 and over 40s. So, let's have a look at those old and young players from every team who are present in the squad.
12. Namibia
The youngest player in the squad - Loftie Eaton
The left-handed batsman Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton is the youngest player in the squad of Namibia. He was born in the year 2001 on 15th March. He made his international debut in a T20 match against Uganda on 3rd April 2021.
The oldest player in the squad - Craig Williams
The skipper of the Namibia side, Craig George Williams in one of the talented cricketers in the squad. The 37-year-old cricketer has featured in 22 T20I matches for Namibia and scored 563 runs with 9 wickets in the bag.
11. Scotland
The youngest player in the squad - Mark Watt
The 25-year-old Mark Robert James Watt is the youngest cricketer present in the squad. He made his international debut in a T20 match against Ireland and went on to feature in 43 matches for the team.
The oldest player in the squad - Kyle Coetzer
Kyle James Coetzer is one of the experienced players in the Scottish cricket team. The 37-year-old is the current skipper of the team who has played 67 T20I matches for Scotland.
10. Bangladesh
The youngest player in the squad - Shoriful Islam
The 20-year-old Mohammad Shoriful Islam made his international debut for Bangladesh against New Zealand in 2021. He is the youngest player in the Bangladesh squad who has featured in 11 T20I matches and scalped 17 wickets.

The skipper of the Bangladesh cricket team Mohammad Mahmudullah is the oldest cricketer present in the squad. He has a lot of experience in his pocket and has played over 100 T20I matches for the team.
9. Afghanistan
The youngest player in the squad - Rahmanullah Gurbaz
The 19-year-old is the youngest player in Afghanistan and in the ongoing T20 World Cup as well. He was born in 2001 and made his international debut against Zimbabwe. He is expected to shine in the mega-event for Afghanistan.
The oldest player in the squad - Mohammad Nabi
The skipper of the side, Mohammad Nabi is the experienced and oldest player present in the squad. The 36-year-old has featured in 82 T20I matches and has scored 1407 runs and scalped 72 wickets for his team in this format.
8. Sri Lanka
The youngest player in the squad - Maheesh Theekshana
The right-arm off-break bowler Maheesh Theeshana made his T20I debut against South Africa on 10th September 2021. After that, the 2-year-old has gone on to play 6 T20I matches for Sri Lanka and will be looking to shine in the T20 World Cup 2021.
The oldest player in the squad - Dinesh Chandimal
The 31-year-old batsman Lokuge Dinesh Chandimal is one of the finest batsmen present in the Sri Lankan cricket team. He is the kind of batsman who can score runs from all around the park. He made his debut for Sri Lanka in 2010 against South Africa and become a regular member of the squad.

The youngest player in the squad - Wiaan Mulder

The oldest player in the squad - Rassie van der Dussen
Rassie van der Dussen usually comes to bat at the top-order for South Africa and has also scored a hundred in the warm-up match against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2021. The 32-year-old is one of the best batsmen in the domestic circuit but didn't get enough opportunities in the national squad.

Tom Curran is the elder brother of Sam Curran who has roped in the squad as a replacement for his injured brother. The bowling all-rounder is aged 26 years and made his debut against South Africa in a T20 match for England.

The skipper of the team Eoin Morgan was an Irish cricketer who has been roped to represent the England cricket team. Currently, the 35-year-old is struggling with his form and has to make a strong comeback before everything goes out of his hands.
3. Australia
The youngest player in the squad - Josh Inglis
Joshua Patrick Inglis is one of the consistent performers in the Big Bash League and caught into the eyes of the selectors with the innovative skills with the willow. He is of age 26 and has been added to the squad in the place of Alex Carey.
The oldest player in the squad - David Warner
