In that case, some players have once again registered their names ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.

The right-arm leggie was once a regular name in the Kolkata Knight Riders' lineup before he was released by the franchise. However, Piyush Chawla failed to live up to the expectations of the franchise and was released ahead of the IPL auction 2021. After that, Mumbai Indians wanted to avail themselves of the services of the veteran spinner and released him ahead of the mega auction where he left unsold.
