Daughter means everything to a father and the bond between them is unmatched which cannot be put it in words. But the biggest heartbreak for every parent is knowing that their daughter drew her last breath and the same thing happened to Pakistan cricketer Asif Ali.
His daughter was constantly battling with cancer since the last few months and was undergoing treatment in the USA while his father was representing his team in England a couple of hours ago.
But news came that Asif’s daughter passed away. The saddest part was that Asif Ali couldn’t see her for one last time and this shocking incident put the cricketing fraternity in dark zone.
Asif kept this painful thing in his heart and featured in this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) as well for Islamabad United.
During the course of the tournament, it was learnt that Islamabad United’s head coach Dean Jones was too moved during a press conference after he was asked a question about Asif’s situation.
Bearing all the sorrow, Asif kept playing for Pakistan and was also seen playing the recent 5th and the last ODI on Sunday where he scored 22 runs from 17 balls, ending up in the losing cause. If sources are to be believed, he is also likely to be included in Pakistan’s World Cup squad.
