Watch: Team India unveils their new jersey ahead of T20 World Cup 2021

The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is not just far away from us as it is going to commence on 23rd October, Saturday. It will be Australia and South Africa who are going to face each other in the double-header.

In addition to that, the mega-event is scheduled to play at the UAE and Oman as we can witness double-headers on most of the occasions. The tournament was scheduled to play in India but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it will be hosted by UAE and Oman under the guidance of BCCI.

Even the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League has moved to UAE by BCCI after considering the conditions in India. Moreover, players like Glenn Maxwell, Anrich Nortje and a few more got enough practise from IPL and will be looking to continue the same form in the T20 World Cup as well.

BCCI officially launches the new jersey of Team India ahead of T20 World Cup:

Recently, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially launched the new jersey for the Indian team which is going to participate in the mega-event. Having a look at their new jersey, they used the same navy blue colour and included some shades of royal blue colour in it.

As usual, the team name is written in orange colour and on the top of the left corner, they added the logo of BCCI with three stars. The three stars justify the three title wins in the ICC event from Kapil Dev's famous 1983 World Cup to MS Dhoni's 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 One Day World Cup triumph.

Moreover, BCCI has launched a video as well for the new jersey featuring Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav and a few more. Besides, Virat Kohli and his men will be looking to lift the title as they didn't win any ICC tournament since the 2013 Champions Trophy.
