LLC 2022: Watch - Wasim Jaffer smashes 35 off 25 balls after being trolled by Michael Vaughan

The former Indian cricketer and head coach of the Punjab Kings IPL franchise Wasim Jaffer is currently engaged with India Maharajas in the Legends League Cricket 2022.

Meanwhile, everyone is happy with the ongoing league, as most of the fans witnessing their childhood stars back in action. Recently, the India Maharajas locked horns with the Asia Lions in the 4th match of the Legends League Cricket at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground.

Having a look at the game, the skipper of India Maharajas, Mohammad Kaif won the toss and asked the opposition to bat first. Stuart Binny got an excellent start as he dismissed Tilakaratne Dilshan for the very first ball he bowled.

Then Romesh Kaluwitharana had to walk back to the dressing room after being dismissed by Aavishar Salvi for 13 runs. After that, Upul Tharanga and Mohammad Yousuf played well in the middle and added some crucial runs on the board.

Summary of the match:

Both the batters added 78 runs for the third wicket partnership before Mohammad Yousuf walked back to the dressing room for 26 runs. After his dismissal, Asghar Afghan joined with the left-hander and started to dominate the bowlers all around the park.

In the end, Asia Lions posted a well competitive total of 194 runs with the help of Upul Tharanga's 72 and Asghar Afghan's unbeaten 69. Following the total, Naman Ojha has to warm the bench after being dismissed by Shoaib Akhtar for 4 runs.

However, Wasim Jaffer added 35 runs for his team and walked back to the dugout. Subramaniam Badrinath and Mohammad Kaif has been dismissed for cheap numbers and failed to contribute in the middle. In the end, some decent contributions from Yusuf Pathan, Stuart Binny and Manpreet Gony helped their side to get close to the run chase.

In the end, Asia Lions defeated India Maharajas by 36 runs. Besides, Michael Vaughan trolled Wasim Jaffer when he bagged a 2 ball duck but Wasim Jaffer replied to him with his bat by scoring 35 runs in his last outing against Asia Lions.
