India and New Zealand were up against each other in the 1st Test match at the Green Park in Nagpur on Thursday. The stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to bat first. Before that, team India is heading into this after conquering the three-match T20I series against the visitors.

Both the batsmen remained unbeaten on 50 and 75 runs and will be looking to post a mammoth total on the next day. Besides, during the match, the Indian fans started to motivate the Indian players by chanting "Jeetega bhai jeetega, India jeetega" which changed to "Pakistan Murdabad".
