Watch - Jasprit Bumrah's terrific spell in the 1st ODI against England

 

After defeating the hosts in the three-match T20I series, Team India has once again up against England in the 1st ODI at the Kennington Oval in London. Rohit Sharma, the skipper of the Indian team won the toss and invited the opposition to bat.

Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow opened the innings for England. But during the second over of the game, Jaspirt Bumrah removed both Jason Roy and Joe Root for a duck in his first spell of the game.

Both the batters didn't have any clue and Jason Roy got out bowled whereas an extra bounce has given the wicket of the right-handed batter which carried straight to the hands of Rishabh Pant. 

Summary of the ongoing match between England vs India:

Following that, Ben Stokes got a golden duck after being removed by Mohammed Shami off the first ball he played. The Jasprit Bumrah removed Jonny Bairstow for 7 runs.

The right-arm pacer continued his fabulous spell and went on to pick Liam Livingstone for a duck. Moeen Ali made a little contribution with his bat as he scored 14 runs before being dismissed by Prasidh Krishna.

Then, the skipper of the side, Jos Buttler who was looking good on one end scored 30 runs and threw his wicket away in Mohammed Shami's spell. After that, the veteran right-arm pacer went through the stumps of Craig Overton who was batting on 8 runs.

David Willey and Brydon Carse were on the crease and will be looking to put up a decent total on the board. After all drama, India had to chase, 111 runs as Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan finished the game with 10 wickets in hand and India lead the series by 1-0.
