Umran Malik scares Nicholas Pooran with a 155+ kmph bouncer

The Jammu and Kashmir born pacer, Umran Malik has made his arrival in the Indian Premier League in the previous season for Sunrisers Hyderabad and registered himself as one of the upcoming stars of the Indian cricket team.

The fiery pacer has the ability to clock over 155 kmph and has surprised the batters with his raw pace and scary bouncers. However, the right-arm pacer has just played three games in the previous edition of the tournament and still, Sunrisers Hyderabad has retained him ahead of this season.

It is clear that Umran Malik will be in the playing xi and will assist one of the best pacers of the modern era, Bhuvneshwar Kumar from the other end. During a practice match, Umran Malik scared the West Indies power hitter Nicholas Pooran with a scary bouncer clocking over the 150s.

They know what needs to be done: Rohit Sharma

On the other side, the five-time winning captain Rohit Sharma has shared a few words about their new bowling attack, as they have lost the services of Trent Boult who has been one of the best performers for the side.

Moreover, Mumbai Indians will also miss the services of Quinton de Kock who has scored a lot on the top-order and have also lost one of the best finishers Hardik Pandya who has been named as the skipper of the newly added franchise Gujarat Titans.

"(Tymal) Mills, (Jaydev) Unadkat are new to the franchise, but they are not new to the game. They have played the game for a number of years now and they know what needs to be done.

It’s just that our role will be critical as to how we give them the understanding of what they need to do for us as a team," Rohit Sharma was quoted as saying by CricTracker.

"They have played for different franchises and countries, where they had different roles. For us, that will be a challenge and we are working with these guys.

We are trying to give them a role clarity as to what we are expecting from them and what sort of role they need to play here," said Rohit Sharma.
