We went in with confidence: Regis Chakabva

The West Indies bowlers didn't let the opposition batters settle in the middle as they continuously picked wickets at regular intervals. Alzarri Joseph has been the best with the ball, scalping 4 wickets and conceding just 16 runs in his spell.

As of now, the Nicholas Pooran-led West Indies team have to face Ireland in their upcoming fixture at the same venue where they defeated Zimbabwe.

Losing the game, Zimbabwe skipper Regis Chakabva shared a few words in the post-match presentation saying, "Bowlers stuck to their plan in terms of trying to hit our areas. They did pretty well to pull it back. Were happy to restrict them to 150.

We went in with confidence that we'll get there. Probably lost one wicket too many in the first 10 overs. Credit to WI and Joseph who opened up the gates. Pitch played very well throughout. Will be looking to bounce back on Friday," was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

Besides, during the game, the West Indies opener Johnson Charles caught up in an unwanted run-out with Rovman Powell when he was batting on 45 runs. It was Johnson Charles's mistake who wanted to take a single when Rovam Powell hit the ball at the point region.
