PAK vs AUS: Watch - Shaheen Afridi dismisses David Warner with a peach of a delivery

 

The third and final Test between Pakistan and Australia has taken place in Lahore. The first two matches of the series have resulted in a draw as both the teams are fighting hard against each other in this ongoing series.

Talking about the ongoing match, the visiting side, Australia has won the toss and opted to bat. David Warner and Usman Khawaja opened the innings for Australia, as Shaheen Afridi got the first breakthrough as he dismissed Warner for just 7 runs.

In the same over, he also removed Marnus Labuschagne for a duck. However, Usman Khawaja and Steven Smith played well in the middle and added 138 runs for the third wicket partnership. But at the end of the first day, Australia has scored 232 runs after losing 5 wickets.

According to the reports from the Red Bull content pool, Shreyas Iyer was quoted as, "There have been ups and downs over the last six months. I came out of (shoulder) injury.

Then got a century on debut, every cricketer dreams about that. I was really grateful for the opportunity. The most important thing for me was to win the Test cap because every kid dreams about that."

"After that, we went to South Africa, I had a bad stomach ache which turned out to be an infection. Things have been good and bad. But I will take all the achievements as a blessing. And I want to keep maintaining and keep up the momentum," he added.

"It was nice to play under him. Firstly, he is an outstanding player. The confidence he carries on the field and in the team meetings, the support that he provides to the players it great.

He’s got a very calm demeanour and his on-field decision-making is very instinctive. I really enjoyed playing under him. Also, he gave me three overs of bowling, which none of the captains previously had done. So yeah, he’s my favourite captain!" he concluded.
