Twitter reacts after Chris Morris' lambasting Chetan Sakariya for gifting Bravo four runs

 

After the heroics of the South African all-rounder, Chris Morris who led his team to taste the victory in their last encounter against Delhi Capitals.

Everyone would be expecting that Chris Morris has got the freedom from the Delhi management after witnessing a heated up moment with Chetan Sakariya in the recent game against Chennai Super Kings.

The incident took place during the final over the game which was bowled by Chris Morris to the West Indies star player Dwayne Bravo. Morris sent off Ravindra Jadeja in the third ball of his final over.

Continuing his spell, Morris bowled an excellent yorker for Dwayne Bravo as he could only angle the ball towards between short third man and backward point region where the youngster, Chetan Sekariya, mistimed his dive that resulted in a boundary.

Morris is a quiet and calm cricketer who always has a smile on his face had shown a different attitude on the field.

Summary of the game between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals

After asked to bat first by Rajasthan Royals, Faf du Plessis opened the innings with Ruturaj Gaikwad for his side. The Tamil Nadu batsman once again failed to make the impact with the bat and went back to the pavilion with 10 runs to his name.

Faf followed him in the final over of the powerplay which was bowled by Chris Morris and handed over the ball to Riyal Parag for 33 runs.

Then, Moeen Ali and Suresh Raina also came back to the dressing room after being dismissed by Chetan Sakariya for 26 and 18 runs respectively. In the end, Chennai Super Kings posted a total of 188 runs on the board.

Following the chase, the yellow army got Manan Vohra and Sanju Samson for cheap in the powerplay overs. Jos Buttler on the other end kept the hope of the fans by taking on the CSK bowlers.

However, Ravindra Jadeja changed the face of the game by sending off the set batsman who missed his fifty by just one run. Shivam Dube has also been removed in the same over of Ravindra Jadeja.

The English all-rounder Moeen Ali has sent back David Miller, Riyal Parag and Chris Morris for single-digit numbers. Finally, Dhoni's army won the game by a margin of 45 runs and will be looking forward to continuing the same momentum in the upcoming game against Kolkata night Riders on Wednesday.
