Rashid Khan reveals the advice that he got from MS Dhoni during IPL

 

The Afghanistan leggie Rashid Khan has emerged as one of the best spinners of the modern era. Rashid Khan opens up about MS Dhoni:

The 22-year-old has performed well in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. Having featured in 7 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rashid Khan has scalped 10 wickets while maintaining a superb economy rate of just over 6. Coming to the point, the Afghan spinner has shared some words about the legendary captain MS Dhoni in a recent interview with Cricast.

Rashid Khan said that "I have a dream that I play under MS Dhoni because the experience playing with him, under him is very important. For a bowler, the role of wicketkeeper is very important and I don’t think there is anyone better than him to explain you things."

"Every time after our matches, the discussions that I have with him has helped me. Last time he told me ‘You have to be careful while fielding, you slide, throw the ball when it is not necessary, you get aggressive. Because there is only one Rashid and people want to see you more, what will happen if you get injured? Keep this in mind, I tell (Ravindra) Jadeja the same thing," he added.
