Watch: Pant hilariously trolls Billings in the practice session

Rishabh Pant has been a key part of the Indian team. The wicket-keeper batsman announced his comeback during the Test series against Australia. Since then, there is no stop for him. 

He came in a replacement for injured Wriddhiman Saha for the third and fourth Test. He did not fail to grab his opportunity and performed well as both the batsman and the wicket-keeper. 

Earlier, he scored a tremendous 97 in the third Test that ended in a draw. But, he stayed till the end and won the fourth game and the series as well for his team with an unbeaten 82. 

The Australian team was defeated at Gabba for the first time in 32 years. But, the Indian team without the skipper Virat Kohli destroyed the mighty Australians on their own soil.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old is currently preparing for the 2021 IPL season. The Delhi-based IPL franchise has appointed him as skipper ahead of the IPL 2021. 

They were practising hard to clinch the trophy for the first time. A hilarious video featuring Rishabh Pant and Sam Billings in the practice session has gone viral on social media. 

Pant is known for his chirps behind the stumps. He has been entertaining the cricket fans whenever he takes the role of wicket-keeper. Meanwhile, he tried to troll Billings in the net session.

Sam Billings was bought by the Delhi Capitals at the auction. He was seen struggling against the spinners. So, Pant decided to use the opportunity and said, "Someone is not hitting." 

The social media manager of Delhi Capitals uploaded the video on Instagram. The caption read, "Rishabh Pant can’t resist himself behind the stumps, even during the practice session.”

Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals will play their first game against one of the most successful teams, Chennai Super Kings on 10th April. They will be looking to start the tournament with a win.
