Watch: Fazalhaq Farooqi troubles CSK batsmen with his pace
The Chennai Super Kings are one of the most successful teams in the history of the Indian Premier League. They are one of the most consistent T20 franchise in the world.
Since the inception of the IPL, they have managed to win three trophies in 2010, 2011 and 2018. However, they have played some bad cricket in the previous season of IPL.
The MS Dhoni-led CSK could win just 6 games and lost 8 games in the last IPL season. They failed to make it to the playoffs for the first time in the history of the cash-rich T20 league.
But, they don't want to repeat the same kind of mistake in the upcoming IPL. In order to play some good cricket, they bought Moeen Ali, K Gowtham, Harisankar Reddy, Bhagavata Varma and Cheteshwar Pujara in the auction.
The Afghanistan pacer troubles the CSK batsmen:
Despite getting some good players in the auction, the yellow-army decided to rope in some players as a net bowler. Earlier, they roped in South Africa's pacer Hardus Viljoen as a net bowler.
They then added Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi and Noor Ahmad. Fazalhaq Farooqi is a left-arm pacer while Noor Ahmad is a left-arm unorthodox spinner.

The left-arm pacer did not take much time to impress the cricket fraternity. He gave his 100% in the net session and troubled every CSK batsmen.
Farooqi bowled at a very good pace during the practice session of CSK. He has already made his debut for his country in the T20I game against Zimbabwe.
