Venkatesh Iyer was caught in a hilarious conversation with an actress on Instagram

 

The left-handed opening batsman, Venkatesh Iyer of Kolkata Knight Riders caught the spotlight in the second phase of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League that was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Venkatesh Iyer has become the talk of the city with his fearless batting approach as he dominated some of the quality bowling line-ups against the best teams.

After a stunning performance in the previous season, the left-hander has been retained by the Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of this edition. He was the third retention pick for the Kolkata based franchise and was given a sum of INR 8 crores.

The left-handed batter scored just 29 runs after featuring in three matches which is a serious issue for the Kolkata Knight Riders this season. Besides, Venkatesh Iyer got the attention of the fans on his Instagram handle as he commented on an actress photo named Priyanka Jawalkar.

The 29-year-old actress was remembered for her famous film Taxiwala and posted a picture of her on which the 27-year-old commented "Cute!!". Priyanka Jawalkar was enough to identify his comment and replied "Who? You?"

Besides, Venkatesh Iyer has to concentrate on his upcoming important fixture against the five-time champions Mumbai Indians who are looking to register their first win in this tournament.

They lost both the matches played against Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals and will be keen to defeat Kolkata Knight Riders to make a comeback in this ongoing tournament.
