The final showdown between India vs New Zealand in ICC World Test Championship

The two top contenders of the inaugural edition of the ICC World Test Championship India and New Zealand will clash with each other in the showdown which is just three weeks away from us. The mega event is scheduled to take place at The Ageas Bowl, Southampton in England in June18-22.

Interestingly, both Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson are yet to clinch the ICC title as captain and it is a great opportunity for both the skippers to achieve the feat in the WTC final. Moreover, we can expect a nail-biting encounter between these two giants as they have what they need in their arsenal.

Both of them are strong enough to dominate each other whether it batting or bowling department. On the other hand, there is a famous rivalry between these two sides way back in the ICC World Cup 2019 where Kane Williamson and his men defeated Virat Kohli's army in the semi-final of the mega event.

Team India doesn't have enough time for practice ahead of the WTC Final:

The Kiwi's have started the two-match Test series against the home team England at The Lord's in London. Moreover, they have one more match against the hosts which will help them to adapt to the conditions way better than India.

Team India on the other hand have departed for England ahead of the ICC World Test Championship Finals and has to undergo the mandatory quarantine. Considering their condition, Virat Kohli and his men won't get much practice and might have troubles against New Zealand.
