T20 World Cup Overall Statistics: Most Runs, Most Wickets, Highest Score

The 2021 ICC T20 World Cup came to a close on Sunday evening when Aaron Finch's Australia won its first world title in the shortest cricket format with an 8-wicket clinical win over Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand. The kiwis had suffocated again in the summit fight because they could not raise a sufficiently large sum in the Dubai International Stadium. Captain Kane Williamson's subtle stroke of 85 meant the Blackcaps set a record (172/4) for a team to beat first in a T20 World Cup final, but it would never be enough as conditions favored the team considered Second struck, as it did throughout the tournament. The duo of David Warner and Mitchell Marsh shared a 92-run stand to help the Aussies get an all-out win.
