The former Indian cricketer and one of the legendary cricketers in the cricket world, Sunil Gavaskar has applauded the Indian pace attack for their consistent performance against West Indies in both ODIs and T20Is.

Moreover, he also praised Deepa Chahar and claimed that the right-arm pacer has the ability to swing the ball in both ways which will help him to give tough battle for the batters in the powerplay overs.

In addition to that, the former Indian cricketer has also stated that India got some good bowlers and Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the best of them. The right-arm pacer has looked in a very good flow with the ball in the recently concluded home series against West Indies.

Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid will be happy with Bhuvi's performance as the mega event, T20 World Cup is not far away and will conclude in Australia this year.

In a recent interaction with Star Sports, the former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar said, "He is a terrific swing bowler. He has that extra pace as well. He isn’t express but he gets the ball to move at a decent pace which makes it difficult for a batsman.

And he has got both the in-swinger and the out-swinger without a noticeable change in action. So when you have someone like him and have Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the bench after two fine performances in the series, India are blessed as far as riches in bowling are concerned."

However, Rohit Sharma and his men will be keen for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka which is going to be held on 24th February, Thursday. The 1st match of the three-match T20 series will take place at Lucknow and the remaining two games is scheduled to play at the Dharamsala.
